CASA BONITA bonarda malbec 2006

What a wine. From the Mendoza region in Argentina, where the women are beautiful even thought their faces are a bit too round for my taste.
Taste this wine. At only 12.5 % vol it’s ideal for those evenings when you need a glass of wine before you can even start to think what would you have for dinner. It will leave you wondering why is it only priced at £2.99 (non UK readers note: do not convert into your currency. Wines in this country are heavily taxed, I’m waiting for the day when alcohol and fags are re-criminalized so you can buy them as cheap as drugs).
Its infantile poetic back label says it all:

This wine has a gorgeous vibrant red colour with purple shades. The nose offers yummy cooked cherries aromas with vanilla hints, this gives way to a mellow, round palate with a lingering finish.
It comes with the once loathed screw cap, now embraced by connoisseurs, so it’s also your perfect company for those summer picnics in St James’s Park.

Give it a go. Your soul and your pocket, forever grateful
